Situation

1822 Fitness was founded in 2008 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Founder and lead trainer, Joel Molina, found great success with his unique fitness programs helping athletes and people who wanted to achieve their fitness goals.

His website was serving as an online business card showcasing their gym address, phone number and email address. His social media accounts were growing in followers but declining in engagement which resulted in no signups for the past three years of working with agencies and freelancers.

Strategy

Summit Angel designed a strategy that would elevate their brand and establish them as a fitness leader, innovator and expert in their city. This is what was included in the strategy:

Create a subdomain copy of the website manually translated in Spanish

Add custom chatbox with pre-loaded answers and automations
Partner with four local nonprofits to market focusing on millennials
Create and submit press releases for the company announcements
Create a social media marketing strategy that increased engagement and followers while decreasing the time commitment of the owner

Summit Angel knows how important an online profile is for any organization. Without the exposure and ability to communicate to an online audience, not even the strongest brands can rise above the competition. Being able to discover target audiences and keywords before starting a campaign will result in a higher return of investments.

Results

Within the first 30 days, 1822 Fitness received traffic from over 32 local ranking fitness keywords. They immediately received signups for his group exercise class and 1 on 1 training.

1822 Fitness was able to focus more on growing the company rather than answering questions for Spanish speaking clients after the launch of the Spanish sub domain. The Spanish website was manually translated rather than automatically by Google bots to insure each piece of content was accurate to the fitness expertise.

The new interactive website also instilled confidence into the current members as they share their experiences to friends and family.
